Recently I have been to a presentation by a marketing professional who insisted in the necessity of finding your market and deciding who your customers are going to be before you actually come out with a message for them. Once you have the right message, you can chose the correct media to distribute it and then collect leads and service them on the backend, with follow up messages and additional services. This is all very true, but in today’s marketplace I find that people desires and possibilities change so fast that you need to listen constantly to what is going and and constantly adjust and probe.

ClickBank is a valuable place to get ideas and see what is working in today's market, even if you have no plan or time to become an affiliate marketer.

Aside from the very valuable information that I will mention in a minute, I was struck by a fact that evades most Americans: in this country you can have all the information that you want provided you are willing to spend money and time to get it.

Dan Sherman at the Internet affiliate marketing seminar in Tampa.
This will seems obvious to most of you, but you need to understand that in many other countries, knowledgeable people keep very close to their chest any special knowledge they develop with their trade. Most of the time, they are not willing to share it.
It doesn’t matter how much you are willing to pay: the markets are so relatively small and so competitive (compared to the US) that they won’t let go of it and the only way you can know some of it is by either working for them for quite a while, pricing up everything you can, or develop it yourself through trial and error.
