It took eight hours to get to Atlanta, driving 500 miles along US 75. A straight ride from Florida to Georgia, crossing storms, heavy rain and beautiful sunshine. Yet it went by in no time. This trip has a particular meaning to me. It sounds like the end of a cycle and the beginning of a new one.
Going to Atlanta.
Three days ago I got approved for a change of status to by immigration and this allows me the time now and the legal status to develop my business activities without the strains, the uncertainties and the imminent dangers that come along a major shift in life like the one I have done with my family and a change of country and culture.
A section of the presentation held in June in Atlanta by me and my partner Daniele Bogiatto. The importance of finding your lucky strike. Discovering in what you are extraordinary.

It has been a very wild ride and a very exciting one at the same time, so much has happened in so little time. One of the worst challenges was actually overcoming immigration hurdles while at the same time building the business and selecting the right people for the team. Now we have come out of the brambles and we have reached the hill top. There are bigger hills and mountains ahead, but knowing we have overcome this one, the first, I know we’ll never stop.
Today I have traveled with Francesco, my new personal assistant that had started helping me in the last couple of weeks and who also has an history of coming to the US from Italy searching for new opportunities. He confirmed that for him too the toughest time was the first year, then things got easier and easier and I can relate to that.
Francesco and I leave for Atlanta. The video is in Italian because dedicated to the Italian community in the US.

For one thing today, traveling with him, I have been able to arrive rested and spent the totality of the trip working: either training him or preparing training materials for others on my computer. Francesco has a hungry mind so I have been able to transfer to him more than 3 hours of training on real estate that we have also recorded, so that he will review it afterward and we’ll be able to share it with other members of our staff.
Having the right people and making sure they are highly trained is the best asset a company can have, and I believe it is also the best guarantee that people will stay with your company. Francesco is a very important asset for me he has lived in the US for 9 years, performing various types of jobs and creating a family in Florida. He has lived also in Italy long enough to know how mores and habits. It was quite funny today hearing him talk with his brother in “napoletano”, the dialect of Naples, while standing with me in the suburbs of Gainesville, Florida. It felt like having a piece of home just nearby.
I am now ready to hit the sack, tomorrow I will be speaking at the bootcamp of Mark Jackson and Sam Bell, the two wholesaling gurus for bank owned properties. It’s going to be a very exciting day and the beginning of a new era for me.
