This time I was alone on the stage, no help from my friend Daniele who is now in Rome, at a milestone event by Tony Robbins. A crowd of American investors wondering what an Italian had to say about real estate, and a very specialized audience for that matter. And once again I decided not to follow the slides, to talk out of my heart telling a story I have lived myself with my family. A story that has captured the last thirteen months of my life exposing me to a world that is so different from Europe and is so complementary with it at the same time. The differences are so great and fundamental that it has become my mission to take the best of the two worlds and mix it so to create a totally new and unbeatable business approach, both for the US and for Old World.

While I was walking on the stage I thought to myself: “If only US businesses knew how much they can gain by integrating their business culture with European networking habits and then mixing them all online and offline”. So I focused on transmitting this view from all different angles noticing that the audience grew more and more attentive.

You see around more and more people that sell systems to become rich on autopilot, yet I believe that American businesses need exactly the opposite, that is the ability to shift gears. Speed of operation and acceleration in business performance is the hallmark for any modern US company. This makes them competitive in terms of production and marketing, but when you face real people, your customers and your associates or partners, you need to slow down and switch into the European mode of creating relationships. Let the relationship develop, build less connections but make them fare deeper and you will not have to search continuously for customers, but you will have loyal customers that will bring you more.

Even better when you don’t try to sell anything during the network building phase, but rather focus on knowing the guy who is in front of you. The whole audience agreed on the need of establishing less and more profound connections in businesses and they recognized thus would bring about much more effectiveness and wealth.

My personal assistant Francesco was in the audience and this was his first real estate investing boot camp. I was amazed about how fast he is picking up concepts even without my direct assistance and how much benefit I produced with the training I did with him during our road trip from Tampa to Atlanta. This week end is setting a totally new scene for my life and my business. I feel the power of events coming together in the same time and in the right sequence. And I feel blessed to be surrounded by the people I am working with now. Last week I had to drop some project and some business acquaintances that had proved to be unreliable and this week I am already benefiting from it: the speed is increasing on the core projects and I am developing even stronger relationships.
