Sometimes you need to go very far away from your habitual place of business or simply from your habitual company and friends or business associates to get a real view of what can be accomplished. It is not just a fact that you often consider the grass is more green in your neighbor’s yard but just becouse moving off the routing breaks routine thinking and you can finally see things which were apparently invisible before. I said apparently on purpose, as the most invisible things are those we always have right in front on us, every day, and we got so used to them that we don’t even see them.
Look here at an interview I have done with Sam Bell, one of the major virtual real estate investors, in anticipation of his trip to Italy.
Stretching far has become a common approach also in real estate investing where you hear more and more about virtual investing and buying homes that are thousand of miles away from you. Virtual real estate investing opens the door to international investing and that’s what constitutes my specialization. Total remoteness anyway doesn’t pay. You need to have some familiarity with the market you wish to invest or at least with the people you’ll do business.
That is why I am on my way back home in a couple of days. I am flying back to Italy where I will meet Mark Jackson and Sam Bell that are already going there on an Italian Cruise ship. We’ll have the first chance of putting together major US real estate investors and major Italian and European investors for the first time. It’s going to be interesting to watch two cultures to merge and I’ll be honored to act as a translator. I will try to keep you updated with the outcome. Hope this will open new horizons also for you.
