I was browsing through my Facebook account today, as I usually do multiple times a day, and I found a video by Dan Stojadinovic who had tagged me. So I got right into it and was amazed by finding Dan’s presenting the 14 DVD and CD home study package he has created during the last HypeFree bootcamp in Tampa (October 2009).
Quite a package of information and what’s most amazing is that one of the DVD is based on my presentation on Twitter marketing strategies that I delivered at the HypeFree bootcamp. It has been my third official presentation in English to a vast audience that was paying to listen to me.
The very funny thing is that I had been participating to the previous edition of the HypeFree bootcamp (Tampa January 2009) as an attendee and there I learned for the first time about Twitter and its importance in building a presence online. All the three stage presentations I did in the US afterwards were a direct result of me participating to that first event.
And I will be on the stage again in Tampa with Dan on January 13th, 2010, for delivering a one day seminar on Twitter marketing exactly one year after I first heard about Twitter.
What’s special about yesterday is that I was also on the phone for a couple of hours with Mark Jackson, real estate investor like me and personal coach, who lives in Atlanta but operates throughout the US and now in Europe, with my help, and that I first met again in Tampa during that milestone event last January.
My business relationships and skills have incredibly changed because I choose to be there and to network with the right people one year ago. Since then, not only I have learned how to present to the US public (overcoming my Italian accent) and maintain a presence online, but I have established partnerships that span multiple continents and that exist only because I conceived they could exist and was fortunate enough to get in touch with the right people who helped me implement them.
It doesn’t matter if you think you are still nobody in Internet marketing today: you can become the star of tomorrow if you just dare believe it is possible.

That’s an inspiring blog Roberto. Self doubt can often be one of the biggest hurdles to overcome. It really helps to have encouraging people around to keep us moving in a positive direction. Couldn’t do it alone that’s for sure.

Great post Roberto. It’s wonderful to see someone like you doing everything to overcome all obstacles to become what you have chosen to become. By doing that, you will become greater than you have dreamed. So many people just sit there saying they can’t surmount the obstacles so there is no hope. And, until they change their mindset – there is no hope. You have actively chosen a positive mindset that can take you anywhere you want.
